Effective Ways to Get Rid of Pimples on the Forehead

Pimples on the forehead can be a real stressing issue!

The forehead is one of the areas of the face where pimples appear most. What are the main causes and how to see them disappear quickly? I tell you everything!

Before an important event or just an appointment that you have been waiting for days, pimples often appear when we need them least.

Even after puberty, impurities can ruin our day.

And contrary to what we might believe, our hormonal balance is not always responsible for the condition of our skin.

Food, a stressful daily life, an unwise lifestyle, and even an unsuitable hairstyle can also unbalance the epidermis.

Most Common Causes of Pimples on the Forehead

Is your daily life so chaotic that you barely have time to log out and relax?

  • It is during the phases of anxiety, excitement, or agitation, that the pimples decide to come out.
  • If you are stressed or distressed, our body releases adrenaline, which increases our performance at work or in our daily lives.

Unfortunately, it also turns our sebaceous glands at full speed. This often results in clogged pores and pimples on the forehead and nose.

  • Too much alcohol or junk food can also cause imperfections to appear.

If the liver is busy eliminating alcohol or fast food, the detoxification process of our skin is neglected.

  • Finally, many women suffer from pimples on the forehead just before their period.

In fact, the level of estrogen, which controls sebum production, drops during this period.

Testosterone levels remain constant. As a result, our pores can become blocked faster and small pimples are formed.

Ways to Get Rid of Pimples on the Face and Forehead

1. Create a suitable skincare routine

The most important step in treating imperfections is undoubtedly daily makeup removal.

  • Make-up or not, clean your skin well every evening without exception.

Effective cleaning will remove all traces of makeup, impurities, and sebum on the surface of the epidermis, in order to allow it to regenerate optimally overnight (the regeneration peak being between 23h and 4h in the morning).

  • Simple and effective, micellar water will allow you to clear up quickly.

The micelles that make up this type of product will capture dirt and traces of makeup to gently remove them.

To avoid sensitizing your skin, rinse it with a splash of water, a spray of thermal or floral water.

I like using micellar water because it easily cleanses the skin, lifts away dirt, excess oil, and makeup in just a few swipes. No need to rinse. It leaves the skin remains refreshed clear of impurities.

Do you tend to wear a lot of makeup, live in an urban area, or sweat a lot?

  • I advise you to prefer a double make-up removal technique for the micellar water option.

To do this, start by removing the make-up particles with an oil or milk-type makeup remover. Then choose a foaming cleanser (check the best price) to rinse and remove all traces of residue.

  • Above all, adapt the cleanser to your skin type so as not to aggrieve it.

Using an oil-based cleanser like jojoba oil will keep your skin hydrated and inhibit pore-clogging and other factors that lead to the formation of pimples.

This cleansing oil is anti-inflammatory and rich in Vitamin B complex and Vitamin E which are great for the skin’s health.

Your skin is impeccably clean, you can apply a light water-based moisturizer. Products rich in comedogenic oils (which clog pores) are to be absolutely avoided.

2. Use a zinc cream against pimples on the forehead

Zinc has an anti-inflammatory effect and can, therefore, prevent the painful inflammation of a pimple on the forehead or accelerate healing if the damage is already there.

  • This type of treatment will disinfect and prevent the spread of germs and bacteria. Zinc also dries up the pimple to make it disappear faster.

Apply a suitable zinc treatment sparingly and only on the affected area, so that your skin does not dry out over a large area.

The best time to do this is before you go to bed.

  • The cream dries quickly, so your pillow doesn’t get damaged overnight. The next morning, all you have to do is remove the residue from the product with lukewarm water.

Health Tip: Sunflower and pumpkin seeds, oatmeal, fish, and whole-grain products are great sources of zinc that you should include in your diet.
